Why Shopify if the story lives on faithfullybooked.com?
Faithfullybooked.com is where we share the heart behind the shelf—letters, FAQs, and blog posts. Shopify handles carts, checkout, discounts, inventory, and tax. We embed Shopify Buy Buttons on /shop/ so you can buy without leaving our voice and layout—while Shopify still powers payment and fulfillment.
Where does checkout happen?
When you tap buy or add to cart from our Buy Buttons, you’re routed through Shopify’s checkout—a secure, trusted flow for payment and order details.
Will I get emails from Shopify?
Yes—order confirmation, shipping updates, and receipts usually come from Shopify (and may show the store name you set there). Newsletter mail from Faithfully Booked is separate if you subscribe on our site.
What if I don’t see shop buttons on /shop/?
Something may still be loading—refresh after a minute or reach out via Contact and we’ll help.
Can I bookmark your Shopify store directly?
If we’ve published a standalone online store, yes—but we still recommend reading How it works and FAQ here so expectations match how we wrap blind dates.
Orders & books
What is a blind date with a book?
You share taste (genre, vibe, content comfort level where it matters)—we choose a wrapped title without spoiling it. Details live on /shop/ and product descriptions at checkout.
Can I return a blind date if it’s not my taste?
Because blind dates are mystery parcels, we can’t accept returns once the wrap is opened for reading preference. If your parcel arrives damaged, wrong, or still sealed and unopened, email [email protected] within 7–14 days of delivery (see Shipping for details). We may offer store credit or a replacement when it’s fair—never a spoiler swap mid-read.
Do you ship internationally / to PO boxes / APO?
We ship within the United States via USPS or UPS (shown at Shopify checkout). PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses are supported when USPS is available. International shipping is not offered at this time—contact us before ordering if you’re outside the U.S.
Books, upcycling & packaging
Why “upcycled” books?
Many unsold or cleared books are shredded or landfilled even when they’re still readable. We source stewarded and upcycled copies—overstocks, rescue lots, and gently handled inventory—so blind dates can celebrate second-chapter stories instead of waste. Not every title is “pre-loved,” but landfill diversion is a real part of how we think.
Do you still reduce packaging waste?
Yes—lighter materials, reuse where it’s clean and safe, and recycling-friendly choices when we can. Mention allergies or plastic-free preferences on Contact and we’ll note what’s possible.

Do you sell my data?
We don’t build a side business out of your trust. Newsletter and site data stay with Faithfully Booked; orders flow through Shopify—each under its own legal terms.
I subscribed to your newsletter—am I a “Shopify customer”?
Not automatically. A newsletter sign-up on faithfullybooked.com is separate from a purchase through Shopify unless we explicitly connect them.
